A transport card is separate from your usual bank card. Check where the chosen card works and which payment methods the purchase and top-up point accepts.
Compare the card with the cities and routes you will use.
Keep a small cash backup rather than assuming a foreign card can top it up.
Physical SIM and eSIM options are available. Check eSIM compatibility, network unlocking, plan duration and whether the package includes a Korean phone number.
Save the installation instructions before travel. Test connectivity before leaving the airport counter.
Ask whether your payment method is accepted before ordering or purchasing. Keep a second method available and check the payment currency and total before approving a charge.
For a declined card, ask staff to confirm the amount, try your backup and contact your card issuer if needed.
Copy the Korean name and full street address from our place or accommodation guides. Check the city, station exit and entrance before starting a route.
Search the full address in your map service.
Compare the last walk, transfers and luggage needs.
Show the Korean address to the driver; confirm payment before the ride.
Check the menu, price and portion before ordering. Tell staff about any ingredient you need to avoid. A request for less spice does not establish that a dish is allergy-safe.
Use the Korean phrase kit to ask for a dish, the bill or information about peanuts. Change the ingredient if your allergy is different, and confirm the staff understand.
Write down the last place and time you had it, the route or vehicle, and any receipt. Contact the venue or operator. At Incheon, the responsible office depends on whether the item was lost in the terminal, on a flight or on airport transport.
Check your exact location and accommodation address. Compare a current taxi or other available route and confirm payment. Ask your accommodation or 1330 for travel help; do not assume another service runs all night.
Ask staff to verify the transaction amount. Try your backup payment method and contact your card issuer using its official contact details. Ask for the receipt or cancellation confirmation if a charge is unclear.
Keep the Korean place name and address ready. Use the phrase cards below for a simple request, or check the 1330 service’s current telephone and chat options for travel information and interpretation.
